Being a mother is the most blissful event in every woman’s life.

But after pregnancy, your body will undergo many changes such as weight gain, stretch marks, healing uterus, and an unappealing body.

You must have heard of celebrities who have lost their weight within a blink of an eye.

But, Do you think it is healthy?

No, as you have gained weight within these nine months, how is it healthy to lose weight within a few months?

Losing weight or losing weight right after giving birth is unsuitable for the mother’s body.

You must stay calm and wait for your body to regain the lost strength, and after that, you can follow the weight loss therapy.

There are many ways to get rid of stubborn belly fat.

Ayurveda is the best among them. Nothing can beat this ancient holistic science.

Ayurveda recommends adequate rest for the mother immediately after delivery.

The first 90 days post delivery are mentioned as the Sutika Kala, where the mother is meant to replenish her body with proper Ayurvedic therapies.

Performing these therapies renders your weight loss therapy easier.

When to start a weight loss diet therapy

After 90 days post-delivery, you can start weight loss diet therapies.

During these 90 days, you are advised to strengthen your muscles and body tissues.

Till then, you are not recommended to go for drastic weight loss diet therapies.

Why do Pregnant Women Gain Weight During the Process?

The weight gain happens as the delivery leaves the enlarged uterus empty, creating a vacuum that immediately fills with Vata.

This Vata dosha should be normalized and returned to its original stratum so that the uterus naturally shrinks back to its normal size and helps regain the lost figure.
